I spent all evening making this one card (yes, I am a very slow stamper). It combines the red, black, and chartreuse color challenge on StampTV with today’s sketch challenge on SCS (SC303).
After three attempts I finally got the garden trellis punched correctly (with scallops on both sides). The beaded ovals die-cuts were distressed with green and red inks before I stamped the flowers and the sentiment on them with black ink. I threaded a red button with black embroidery floss and adhered it to the card with Scor-Tape.

Fall has definitely arrived in Maryland. The beauty of the autumn colors around me inspired me to make this card, using this week’s StampTV sketch (stvsketchvd6). I printed the Hot Coals background paper myself, on layering weight Pure Luxury White card stock. It’s one of the designs in a free digital paper pack that I downloaded from StampTV’s Freebies page.
I stamped the image and sentiment from the Fanciful Fall stamp set with brown Memento ink and used Copic markers for coloring. The PL Sweet Mango panel was dry embossed with Tim Holtz’s Cracked embossing folder. I thought it complemented the digi paper nicely.

The Fort Meade girls are getting together for a Christmas/winter-themed shoebox swap today and I am happy to once again join in the fun! This is the card I prepared for them (and prepared is right, because I clear-embossed the background panel in advance for my 20 stamping buddies).
I was inspired by Fall-to Layout 110 on the clean & simple stamping blog. After trimming the left and right edges of the Christmas Collage image, the sentiment and image panels slightly extend past them (which is pleasing to my eye). The wreath is a partial image from the Northern Hearts hostess set that was inked up with red and green markers. All edges were sponged with Crumb Cake ink for a vintage look!

Little Diego, the only son of our friends in Virginia, is turning 5 years old on Saturday. I noticed the cake image in the Birthday Bash stamp set held five candles, which was absolutely perfect! Looking around for designer paper that was appropriate for a little boy, I found this thin-striped paper in the Welcome Neighbor DSP pad. I had a paper-pieced cake in mind, and the stripes worked out well. The rest of the cake was colored with Copic markers. To finish off the card, I added a blue (striped) ribbon along the top fold.

A clean and simple card was all I had the energy for at the end of this workweek. I was happy to finally get my Happy Hello stamp set inky, thanks to the very conducive layout from Mojo Monday 159.
I stamped the circle frame with Bamboo Leaves, the sentiment inside with Rich Razzleberry ink, and punched this out with a 1-3/8″ circle punch. If you look carefully (click on the picture to enlarge), you might also see a sliver of Melon Mambo matting. Three Copic-colored gems were added as embellishment.
