I have always wanted to try this “VersaMarker + clear embossing + sponging” technique that TheresaCC has mastered like no other, so I was thrilled to discover she had been chosen to be the Featured Stamper on SCS today. After browsing Theresa’s marvelous gallery, I CASEd her You’ve Got Mail card, using a similar image from the new StampTV kit.
The mailbox was stamped with black Memento ink, then colored with Copic markers. Afterwards, I took a VersaMarker and colored the entire image, then embossed it with clear powder. This enables you to sponge the background without getting ink all over your image, and it is much easier than creating a mask.
Thanks for stopping by!
