Double Challenge

I like combining the color combination and sketch challenges on SCS because I usually don’t have the time to make two different cards. So, here is my entry for CC168 (Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, and Sage Shadow) and SC178. The finished Sage Shadow card measures 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ and has the fold at the top.

I stamped the small background stamp several times in Chocolate Chip ink on Very Vanilla card stock and colored the centers of the little flowers with my Sage Shadow marker. This piece was layered on Chocolate Chip card stock. Two satin Chocolate Chip ribbons were added, slightly overlapping, and a wide Very Vanilla grosgrain ribbon was layered on top.

The medallion was stamped in Sage Shadow ink and punched out with the scallop circle punch. I then temporarily adhered this to a piece of lightweight scrap paper and punched it again with the scallop circle punch, to create the more pointy edge. The birthday saying in Chocolate Chip was punched out with a 1″ circle punch and adhered with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

Thanks for stopping by!

I love the idea of combining challenges…frees up time so you can do even more cards ;o) I also love that you did the fold at the top and that you changed the 4th panel to be a circle…I think that works so well!! Great job!
