WMS Pajama Party

November 23rd, 2013 · 6 Comments

So close to the deadline, but at least I got a few cards made for this month’s Waltzingmouse Stamps pajama party!

Let Us Give Thanks
For the first challenge, I got my inspiration from Laura Bassen’s Joy Card on Day 3 of the Holiday Card Workshop 2013 online card class. I still need a lot more practice with my plaid-stamping!

Stamps: Bountiful Baskets Additions, Off Beat Backgrounds (Waltzingmouse Stamps)
Paper: Pure Luxury Crème de Menthe, Lemon Drop, Rocket Red, White (Gina K. Designs)
Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black, Memento Rhubarb Stalk, Lady Bug, Cantaloupe, Bamboo Leaves, New Sprout (Tsukineko)
Accessories: Big Shot, Tasteful Trim Bigz Die, Many Thanks Sizzlits Die (SU!); Sticker Maker (Xyron)

His Christmas Tree
For the second challenge, I made “his” and “hers” Christmas tree cards, à la Kelly Rasmussen on Day 5 of the Holiday Card Workshop 2013 online card class. On the masculine card I used the Zig Zag Backgrounder for the tree and a star cut out of a fabric sticker. Both cards have the same sentiment banner, on which I used the chalkboard technique.

Stamps: Zig Zag Backgrounder, Compliments of the Season (Waltzingmouse Stamps)
Paper: Crumb Cake, Basic Black (SU!); Pure Luxury White (Gina K. Designs)
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Whisper White Craft, VersaMark (SU!)
Accessories: Big Shot, White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, Uni-Ball Signo Gel Pen, Heat Tool (SU!); Labels Ten Nestabilities, Ribbon Banners Shapeabilities (Spellbinders); Starry Die (Verve Stamps); Fabric Sticker Labels (7gypsies); Double-Sided Foam Tape (3M Scotch)

Her Christmas Tree
The feminine card has a Dainty Doilies Christmas tree and a star cut out of silver glimmer paper. I wish I had stamped the inner circle perfectly, but I didn’t have time to start over and still meet the deadline!

Thanks for stopping by!

Stamps: Dainty Doilies – Large Set, Compliments of the Season (Waltzingmouse Stamps)
Paper: Pistachio Pudding, Basic Black, Silver Glimmer Paper (SU!); Pure Luxury White (Gina K. Designs)
Ink: Strawberry Slush, Whisper White Craft, VersaMark (SU!)
Accessories: Big Shot, White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, Uni-Ball Signo Gel Pen, Heat Tool (SU!); Labels Seventeen Nestabilities, Ribbon Banners Shapeabilities (Spellbinders); Starry Die (Verve Stamps); Double-Sided Foam Tape (3M Scotch)
