Golden Anniversary

My aunt and uncle are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this month, so I thought a card with lots of hearts (including a big golden one) would be appropriate!

I was inspired by the embossed die-cuts Jennifer McGuire showed us on Week 3 Day 2 of Summer Card Camp 2, and I also used one of the sketches and the colors we’re supposed to be working with this week. The big jotted heart die-cut was covered with three layers of gold embossing powder, and the smaller hearts were cut out of white card stock which had been colored with purple inks and heat embossed with sparkle powder.

Thanks for stopping by!

you anticipated my question regarding the gold heart. Beautiful! I can personally attest to how wonderful your cards are as I have one sitting right beside me at my desk. It really does make me smile and I love the colors. Not sure I could have found a way to combine them! Great job and the card today is no exception.
