For My Sister

It’s a shame I can’t just drive to my sister’s house and drop this birthday card in her mailbox, because then it wouldn’t be arriving too late. Sorry, sis! Hope you have a wonderful, warm, and sunny day in Belgium today!

The Dutch sentiment could be translated as: A birthday is a day that floats between yesterday and tomorrow (but my translation skills are quite rusty). I used a Viva la Verve sketch (6/10/11) to get my mojo started. Love the pretty papers in BasicGrey’s Sweet Threads collection!

Thanks for stopping by!

Stamps: Blue Skies (Verve Stamps); Dutch sentiment stamp (Verschooten Stamps Antwerpen)
Paper: Pure Luxury Innocent Pink, Chocolate Brown, White (Gina K. Designs); Sweet Threads (BasicGrey)
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa (Tsukineko)
Accessories: Big Shot, Stampin’ Dimensionals (SU!); Lacey Ovals and Classic Ovals Small Nestabilities (Spellbinders); Vintage Lace Punch Around the Page Set (Martha Stewart); Corner Chomper (We R Memory Keepers); Gelly Roll® Stardust® Glitter Pens (Sakura); Copic Marker (RV10); 5mm Pearls (Mark Richards)

How beautiful and I will write that sentiment down, even if it is wrong!
