Milestone Birthday

My dear husband is celebrating a milestone birthday this week, and I wanted to make him a card that incorporated some of his passions. I could make you guess, but they are: bicycling, filming (shooting and editing), and reading.

I stamped the image and sentiment with black pigment ink and embossed them with clear powder. I pierced eight holes in opposite corners of the card and threaded black hemp twine through them. The edges of the patterned papers were distressed with Antique Linen ink. Only two layers of BasicGrey papers were used, which fits the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge of the week.

Thanks for stopping by!
