StampTV Sketch Challenge

I found an interesting sketch on StampTV and made a quick card with it. The image was stamped with Memento black ink and cut out with a Nestabilities die, then colored with Copic markers and two Stampin’ Up! markers (because I didn’t have all the colors I needed in my small Copic marker collection). I was inspired by the colors in the Nouveau Chic papers: Apricot Appeal, Sage Shadow, and Basic Gray. I sponged Apricot Appeal ink around the image and sentiment while the paper was still sitting inside the die.

Thanks for stopping by!

Stamps: Lord of the Season, Picture It (Gina K. Designs)
Paper: Apricot Appeal, Nouveau Chic Designer Series Paper (SU!); Pure Luxury Ivory (Gina K. Designs)
Ink: Apricot Appeal (SU!); Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko)
Accessories: Big Shot, Apricot Appeal & Sage Shadow Stampin’ Write Markers, Apricot Appeal 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon, Stamping Sponge, Stampin’ Dimensionals; Labels Seven Nestabilities (Spellbinders); Copic Markers (0, C1, C3, C5, E30, G000, G94, Y21, YR14)

Wow, I love your marker skills! (That’s a real term, right? LOL) Yellow around the edges – what to highlight the focal point. Okay, I sound silly but I hope you get my gist. πŸ™‚

“what” -> “white” I sound silly AND can’t type correctly. Time for bed, I guess. πŸ™‚
