Double SCS Challenge

It’s been a long time since I’ve combined the SCS color and sketch challenges on one card, but I managed to this week! I ended up turning the SC263 sketch sideways, but used all three colors of CC253 without fail: Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, and Rich Razzleberry. Betty added a twist to the color challenge: show a houndstooth print on your card. Luckily, I had held on to this retired SU! background stamp, which I stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink on the background panel.

I stamped the Charming image with Chocolate Chip ink on Whisper White card stock and cut it out with an oval Nestie, then sponged Pretty in Pink ink along the embossed edge. Thin brown ribbon helped divide the background panel into the two sections of the layout, and wide pink ribbon was tied into one big beautiful knot as embellishment.

Thanks for stopping by!
