Born in the USA

I wasn’t born in the U.S.A., but I did feel like an American 8 years ago, on September 11. Remembering those patriotic feelings (which prompted me to become a U.S. citizen the following year), I wanted to make a card featuring red, white, and blue today. It also happens to be a WICKED challenge on the SCS demo side, hosted by my friend Kristin this month.

The stamps I used are Extreme Guitar and Extreme Elements, and I added the saying with Billboard die-cut letters.

Thanks for stopping by, and God Bless America!

All supplies by Stampin’ Up!® unless otherwise noted.
Stamps: Extreme Guitar, Extreme Elements, Sanded
Paper: Brilliant Blue, Night of Navy, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Brilliant Blue, Night of Navy, Real Red, Whisper White Craft
Accessories: Big Shot, Billboard Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die, 3/4″ Square Punch, Stamping Sponges, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Wonderful and uplifting card. It was so sad watching the memorials yesterday.
