Holiday Greetings

Have you started thinking about cards for the holiday season yet? I sure have! The wonderful Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Series Paper makes creating beautiful creations so easy. This particular paper has a very nice metallic sheen to it that I wasn’t able to capture in my picture. Also barely visible in the photo is the shimmer paint I sponged on top of the Soft Suede ink when I inked up the Dasher image (if you click on the picture you may be able to see it better).

The Sahara Sand Top Note die-cut was run through the Big Shot a second time to create this elegant square. I used it as the “tent topper” on my 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ card, making sure the overall height of the card stayed at 5-1/2″ so it still fits inside a regular envelope.

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh Vera, you have outdone yourself- and for a swap no less! How superbly creative that you thought to turn that Top Note and cut it again!! Boy am I so glad I stuck that Dasher stamp on my order yesterday- although sadly I don’t have that ribbon. I’ll have to actually change something when I case this I guess. Just LOVELY!!

What a pretty card! And I love that it will be easy to make, perfect for a workshop or for mass production of Christmas cards. Thanks for sharing!
