Featured Stamper: Sparkle Smith

This week’s Featured Stamper challenge on SCS introduced me to a new gallery, sparkplug17‘s. As soon as I saw the fun layout on her Year of the Ox card, I knew I had found “my” card. Instead of making a New Year’s card, I turned my version into a card for a new baby girl.

Sparkle used a lot of glitter on her card (how appropriate!), but I used the shiny white pin stripe paper from the Taste of Textiles package instead. The patterned paper is from the Bella Birds DSP package, and the baby buggy image from the Puns from the Past set. To get the piercing along the edge of the circle panel looking even, I again used Beate’s wonderful tip on paper piercing curves.

Thanks for stopping by!

This is a WOW card. Turned out great with the papers and colors used. I liked the cased card, but using the papers instead of glitter was even better. Awesome work again!
