Cheers to You!

Looking at my calendar at all the birthdays that are coming up in the next two weeks, I decided to make a birthday card for today’s Limited Supplies Challenge on SCS (LSC216). We were only allowed to use:

  • 1 Wheel
  • 1 Image stamp
  • 1 Sentiment stamp
  • 1 Embellishment

My Cheers to You set hasn’t seen much ink, so I pulled it out together with the coordinating Cheers wheel. I rolled the wheel with Whisper White Craft ink on a Real Red card and let the ink dry. I stamped the martini image with black StazOn ink on Whisper White card stock and colored it in with Classic inks and a blender pen. For my embellishment I chose an aluminum metal edge tag, to which I adhered a 1-1/4″ Kiwi Kiss circle. The image was cut out and adhered with dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark ink on a 1″ strip of Real Red card stock and embossed with white powder. This strip was attached to a panel of Bella Rose Designer Series Paper with white scalloped edges.

Thanks for stopping by!

What a beautiful card Vera! I think it’s best color combo I’ve seen with this set!

OMG, guess who got this card?!! I DID! Thanks so much Vera- and you are 2 days early! Aren’t you just the best!! I just adore the contrast of those colors together! I’ve posted this in my RAK gallery on SCS and it has already gotten a comment so you’ll have to go read it! Thanks again!
