Warhol Wannabe

When I saw Jen del Muro’s sketch for this week (4/11/09), the Warhol technique immediately came to mind. But since I was going to stick with the colors from today’s combination challenge on SCS (CC214), my card ended up as more of a Warhol technique wannabe.

Christine picked the colors from the Bella Birds Designer Series Paper, and since I happen to love that paper I just had to use it. The Happy Birthday sentiment from the Four Square set was stamped twice with Chocolate Chip ink on Bordering Blue, Pink Pirouette, and So Saffron card stock and punched out with the 1-1/4″ square punch. I matted the six squares with Chocolate Chip scalloped squares and added a corduroy button with linen thread to the right bottom square.

Thanks for stopping by!
