Sympathy Card

Today I needed to make a sympathy card for a friend who lost her father. I used the sketch from today’s challenge on SCS (SC222) to get me started. Using two patterns from the Walk in the Park Designer Series Paper in the background, I repeatedly stamped the Flowers in Silhouette image with the same colors (Kiwi Kiss and Basic Gray) on Whisper White card stock.

The Basic Gray corduroy button and the patterned paper are both featured in the new Occasions Mini Catalog. The sentiment is a white Chit Chat rub-on, which works really well on the textured Basic Gray paper.

Thanks for stopping by!

This is really good – love the opposits that play off the colors.

    Hey Vera,
Really love the looks of this card. Very nice. Thought I didn’t need them all, but now I need the Basic Gray Corduroy Buttons too.

    Vera,
Simply stunning. You made the angled piece totally work for my pea brain in which angles (. . . other than straight up and down) aren’t often welcome. 🙂 Such nice work.
