Goodbye, Neighbor!

Goodbye, Neighbor!

A few days ago a friend of mine moved out of our little cul-de-sac. I’m going to send her this cheerful card to congratulate her with her new house (which is only 12 miles away, and I’m sure we’ll stay in touch).

The sketch I used came from Jen del Muro and was a lot of fun. I combined sheets from two different Designer Series Paper packages, and used one section of the Neighborhood jumbo wheel for my main image. The house was “wheeled” with black StazOn ink on watercolor paper and colored in with Classic inks and an Aqua Painter. When the image was dry, I cut it out and mounted it on top of a Bashful Blue and a Real Red circle. I cut out two little clouds, that were lightly colored with Bashful Blue ink, and adhered them to the card with dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the Fun & Fast Notes set, and because I separated the words from the images when I mounted my stamps, it was easy to ink up and stamp “congratulations” all by itself.

Thanks for stopping by!
