My WICKED Sketch Challenge

December 2nd, 2008 · 1 Comment

As I mentioned yesterday, I was asked to host the WICKED challenges on the demo side of splitcoaststampers this month. This was the sketch I came up with as one of the challenges:

WICKED Sketch

Here’s the card I made using the sketch:

Thinking of You

I inked up the branch stamp with Pink Piroutte ink first, then removed the ink from the stems with a blender pen and colored them Bravo Burgundy with a marker. A little huff on the stamp, and then the image was stamped onto the Whisper White oval. I did a little freehand piercing along the edge of the oval.

The sentiment from Always in My Thoughts was stamped with Bravo Burgundy ink on Whisper White card stock and punched out with the 1″ circle punch. A little tip about the piercing on the pink scallop circle: it is easier to pierce the circle (from the Punches Plus Classy Brass template) first, and then use your Scallop Circle Punch to punch around it.

Hope you give this sketch a try! Leave a comment with the link to your card, and I’ll be sure to visit!

Thanks for stopping by!
