Great Sketch by Jen del Muro

I just subscribed to Jen’s i{heart}2stamp blog in Google Reader yesterday, and I couldn’t resist her Sketch For You To Try that showed up today. My idea was to use the Top Note die for both of the rectangles in the sketch. The smaller one was just trimmed from the center outwards, both horizontally and vertically, and taped back together. The taffeta ribbon hides the seams!

The Holiday Collection star image was inked up with Old Olive ink and stamped on scrap paper first, then on Very Vanilla card stock and punched out. The little star was punched out as well, and the edges were sponged with Ruby Red ink. I placed a white Chit Chat rub-on in the top right corner of the larger Top Note die cut. The edges of the card were pierced with the help of my piercing tool and Mat Pack.

Thanks for stopping by!
