Een jaartje meer

My Belgian nephew is turning 14 years old on Friday, and he is an amazing soccer player. I tried to remember what his soccer uniform looks like, and his club’s website confirmed that it’s predominantly white, with a diagonal green stripe on the shirt. The card layout is from last week’s (200th!) sketch challenge on SCS, and using it really made this card come together very quickly.

I stamped the ball image from the Just Soccer set three times with black StazOn on Whisper White card stock, punched the images out with the 1-3/8″ square punch, and matted them with Basic Black card stock. The striped paper is from the retired Prints Designer Series Paper hostess set, and I placed a piece of retired Wild Wasabi double-stitched ribbon at the top of the green panel.

Thanks for stopping by!
