GSG New Catty Swap

GSG New Catty Swap

Inspired by the colors of the Sweet Always Designer Series Paper, I created this card for the Great Swaps Girls new catty swap. I signed up for the Say It with Scallops stamp set, which is this year’s Ronald McDonald House Charities set.

The images are designed to perfectly fit inside the Scallop Square Punch, which I ended up not using on the card. I did use the new Scallop Edge Punch on a strip of Whisper White card stock, to add a little accent to the patterned paper.

If you click on the card, you should be able to see the dry-embossed dots on the Pink Pirouette card stock, behind the sentiment. These dots were manually added (one by one) with the Dots classy brass template and a stylus. I thought it looked nice next to the dotted Designer Series Paper.

Thanks for stopping by!

Awesome card Vera! Love the treatment of the scallop stamp. Great colors and embossing, too! I really think dry embossing is so relaxing and fun to do.

Vera, I just LOVE this card of yours! I am so glad you used the classy brass template because when I first saw it in person yesterday I thought “Oh my golly, she used the Crop-a-Dile to do all those embossed circles”. Then I was wondering how they were so perfectly aligned. Way to go, the colors and style are just perfect!

Oh this is just sweet! Love the colors & layout. I’ve been trying not to order this DSP, but I think I just lost that battle.
