Corduroy Technique

Shhh! I’m not supposed to use glitter in the house (I stamp in my kitchen), but I just couldn’t resist the corduroy technique featured in the April/May 2010 issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter. After creating the sparkly background, I made the rest of the card very simple. Of course, I had to use my long-awaited Beautiful Wings embosslits die. I may be adding cute butterflies to all of my cards from now on (just kidding)!

Thanks for stopping by!

Wow – what a beautiful card. The colors are great together and those butterflies are perfect with that frame design. Great mix of textures. AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Hope your day and year are awesome.

WOW, this is stunning! I don’t use glitter myself only because I make cards for Operation Write Home and the glitter is detectable by night vision goggles and once I use glitter I seem to find it forever!!! Love this technique and your card is really awesome!
